Appreciation

Today I thought I would have not post anything. I received a news that shocked me deeply. A friend left us, and in few minutes I find myself speechless and with a deep pain hard to describe.
Today I've been thinking to the attack in Oslo, the kids in Utøya, our fragility and to how all this doesn't do anything else that confirming the teory of the need to live life with lightness. Today I've been thinking to how is important to get away anger, bad vibes and negative energies. I've been thinking to how much I love to be alive, laughing, how I love colors, looking at the sky and at the lake, walking with my mother and sit on the grass. I've been thinking that I can't help but I can't stand the ones that instead have decided to destroy themselves every day. Such a blasfemy. I've been thinking I'd want to be more tolerant, but maybe not really in front of some other situation. I can't do it.
Today I've been thinking I want to dedicate that hours of sun and peace to these persons that left empty spaces down here. Because I believe that to stay and deeply appreciate life is the only way to pay back the others that had to leave too early.

  1. People tend to add "but life goes on" every time something sad happens. Of course, it does go on, but in some particular cases a bit of its magic is taken away with each context that disappears and leaves an absence instead. it happen when my grandmother, Ana, died and it is still there, with life still going on. her memory is still strong within me and that is never going to change. Thanks for sharing your beautiful Italia ,Eli. Thanks for sharing bits and pieces of yourself. It is a very very brave thing to do..
